Corporate Events

Corporate EventsDragon Boating is an excellent team building event because in the boat, everyone is equal.  It requires teamwork in terms of timing but it does not matter how fit or strong you are, everyone can get involved.

Central Coast Dragon Boat Club has coached several corporate teams, the most successful being the local MARS Food crew.  The MARS Food team started out in 2010 wanting to get involved in a NSW Corporate Games Dragon Boat event.  With some expert advice and direction from our inspirational coaches and some hard work on their part not only did they have a go, they went on to win the NSW Corporate Games Dragon Boat Regatta 3 years running!  The business has been rapt in the results of getting involved in this sport.

“Apart from the obvious fun & fitness, we are getting so much interaction between people from all parts of the business.   A lot of the people in these boats hardly knew each other before we started paddling.  There is a sense of camaraderie back at work that is infectious!  It has even been a chance for a lot of people to get to know our new GM a little better.  So thanks again.  We can’t wait for the next Corporate Games!” – Susan Smith, Supply Finance Manager
