The membership of the Central Coast Dragon Boat Club is a diverse group of paddlers with differing needs and aims.
Men and women whose primary goal is to achieve the skills and fitness necessary to paddle competitively in sports regattas, paddle as the Central Coast Sea Dragons. The Sea Dragons also include paddlers who are less competitive but who aim at improving their fitness and enjoying the camaraderie which this sport offers.
The membership includes survivors of breast cancer who aim to improve their quality of life, fitness and personal support network through dragon boat paddling as the Coast Busters. They also aim, under the banner of the national organisation, Dragons Abreast, to increase breast cancer awareness and affirm through this activity, that their lives have not been limited by their diagnosis.
